About Plymouth Gran Fury
The Plymouth Gran Fury is a full-sized automobile that was manufactured by Plymouth from 1975 to 1989. Plymouth was a brand of automobiles produced by Chrysler Corporation and its successor DaimlerChrysler. The brand was launched in 1928 to compete in what was then described as the "low-priced" market segment that was dominated by Chevrolet and Ford.
The mid-size B-body Plymouth Satellite was restyled and renamed Plymouth Fury in 1975. As a result, the previous full-sized C-body Fury was called as the Gran Fury. Between 1975-1977, the Gran Fury offered several models, including 2-door coupe, 2-door hardtop, 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop, and 4-door station wagon. Later between 1980 and 1981, the Plymouth Gran Fury was available in two versions, Base and Salon. The vehicle also included enormous accessories and parts, such as a vinyl-covered roof, higher-grade interior cloth, split-bench seat, chrome body-side trim, and deluxe wheel covers. Moreover, fleet customers were attractive to the R-Body Gran Fury, especially police departments. Therefore, the Plymouth Gran Fury achieved the highest sales that year.

In 1982, Plymouth downsized the Gran Fury again. In this generation, the Gran Fury shared with the mid-size M platform with the Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Besides, the Plymouth also introduced the M-body, which was largely based on the Volaré's F platform. All M-body coupes were offered with 2 different roof treatments. The rear side window of the Gran Fury was more formal with a tall, narrow rectangular shape. It was equipped with the iteration of the 318 ci V8 engine, and could produce 165 horsepower. The vehicle could not satisfy the needs of drivers without these functional accessories.
The automaker also produces the accessories and parts for the Plymouth Gran Fury. It is worthwhile to purchase the OEM parts and accessories if something wrong happens to your car. The genuine parts and accessories are all available on the internet, and you could find them at online shops. It is easy to order them online without visiting the physical wholesale garage.
