The blower motor is important to all the vehicle's HVAC system since it conducts power to the fan. The vehicle also has multiple blower motors depending on the climate system. The motor is able to adjust the amount of air current with help of the resistor.
Blower motor operationThe blower motor has controls which allow the driver to set up the temperature that they feel comfortable with. This also gives the driver the ability to turn up the heater when the windows are frozen over, or blast cold air when it is hot outside. The vehicle has the HVAC system to give the driver the benefits of being able to drive comfortable.
Blower motor resistor and fusesThe adjustment of the fan speed sends feedback to the resistor leading to the motor slowing down or speeding up. It is very important to check up on the blower motor, especially if only a small amount of air is being provided. The fuses have a lot to do with the function of the fans, so it is vital to check if the fuses work properly.
Common issues with a blower motorA defective blower motor can lead to restricted airflow, the cabin temperature will be all over the place, and the driving experience will be poor due to these conditions.
