Disconnect the negative battery cable, and remove the under-hood electrical center cover. Disconnect the engine control module harness connector and the positive battery cables from the underhood electrical center. Remove the underhood electrical center tray bracket nuts and bolts. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer from the tray bracket. Lift the electrical center and swing it back and out of the way, then support the transmission with a hydraulic floor jack. Remove and discard the transmission to mount to mid-rail bolts. Hand-start the new transmission and connect the wiring harness retainer to the tray bracket. Install the electrical center nuts and bolts, and install the positive battery cables to the under-hood electrical center. Lastly, connect the engine control module harness connectors, install the underhood electrical center cover, and connect the negative battery cable.
