Q: What is the Hood Latch Release cable removal procedure?
A:
Remove the hood latch, and remove the left hinge pillar trim. Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood latch, then disconnect the hood release cable from the hood release handle. Tie a piece of string around the hood release cable to ease the installation of the hood release cable through the passenger compartment.

Q: What is the installation procedure?
A:
Transfer the string to either end of the new hood to release the cable. Remove the string from the hood release cable, and connect the hood release cable to the hood release handle. Install the left hinge pillar trim, and pull the string and the hood release cable into the engine compartment. Remove the string from the hood release cable and install the hood latch.
