Q: How do you properly install a new hood hinge bracket?
A:
Clean the surface where the new bracket will be applied to. Drill out 21/64 in pivot holes so the 5/16 in plug weld holes are in the same position as factory welds. Apply weld through primer and position the bracket. Plug weld in 1in stitch weld pattern and apply sealants or anti-corrosion primer to the panel.
