Q: Are there any special tools needed to remove/install rear subframe bushings?
A:
You will need the following tool numbers to properly replace rear subframe bushings: CH-48377, CH-49233, CH-50196, and DT-49126-10.

14/10/2021Q: What is the proper way to install the rear subframe and bushings?
A:
Use tools DT-49126-10, CH-50196, and CH-49233 to install the new bushings into the rear subframe. Raise the rear subframe and install the new body bolts. Reinstall the rear springs, propeller shaft, shock absorbers, exhaust muffler, and wheels back onto the vehicle.

12/10/2021Q: What is the proper way to remove the rear subframe?
A:
You will need to remove the wheels, exhaust muffler, shock absorbers, rear springs, reinforcement arm bolts, and propeller shaft. Remove the 4 rear support to the body mounts and you will have room to lower the rear subframe of the vehicle. Once the rear subframe of the vehicle is lowered and off the vehicle, use an 8mm drill to drill through the rear bushings and use tool CH-48377-1 to help push the bushing out of place.
