2010 GMC Yukon Throttle Body

You can install the throttle body gasket to the intake manifold, align the tab of the gasket with the notch in the manifold, install the throttle body, bolts, and nuts, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the electronic throttle control, install the air cleaner outlet duct, connect a scan tool to test for proper throttle-opening and throttle-closing range, operate the accelerator pedal and monitor the throttle angles.

You can remove the air cleaner outlet duct, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the electronic throttle control, and remove the throttle body nuts and bolts, the throttle body, and the throttle body gasket.

You should turn OFF the ignition before inserting fingers into the throttle bore, and inspect the throttle body bore and the throttle plate for deposits. You will need to open the throttle plate to inspect all surfaces and clean the throttle body bore and the throttle plate, install the air cleaner outlet duct and perform the throttle learn procedure.

You do not insert any tools into the throttle body bore to avoid damage to the throttle valve plate, and do not use any solvent that contains Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK). This solvent may damage fuel system components.
