You can apply the parking brake, remove the driver knee bolster, disconnect the stop lamp switch electrical connector, remove the power vacuum brake booster pushrod retainer bolt, the power vacuum brake booster pushrod retainer, slide the power vacuum brake booster pushrod off of the brake pedal pin and remove the stop lamp switch.

Q: How to install the Stop Lamp Switch (With Adjustable Pedals)?
A:
You can install the stop lamp switch to the power vacuum brake booster pushrod, the power vacuum brake booster pushrod with the stop lamp switch to the brake pedal pin, and the power vacuum brake booster pushrod retainer, rotate the pushrod retainer 360 degrees to verify the retainer is fully engaged in the groove on the brake pedal pin, install the power vacuum brake booster pushrod retainer bolt, connect the stop lamp switch electrical connector, and install the driver knee bolster.
