The procedure is to remove the control valve body cover, disconnect the input and output speed sensor electrical connectors, disconnect the shift position switch electrical connector, remove the 4 control valve body bolts, position the control solenoid valve spring to the side and remove the 2 control valve body bolts, the control valve body bolt, the 3 control valve body bolts, the control valve body bolt, the control solenoid valve body, and transmission control module (TCM) assembly and the control solenoid valve assembly filter plate.

Q: How do you install the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly?
A:
You can install a new control solenoid valve assembly filter plate, install the control solenoid valve assembly with the transmission control module, hand start the control valve body bolts, secure the 12 control valve body bolts M6 x 97 and the 3 control valve body bolts M5 x 40.5, connect the input and output speed sensor electrical connectors, connect the shift position switch electrical connector and install the transmission control valve body cover.

A:
You can remove the transmission control valve body cover, disconnect the input and output speed sensor electrical connectors, disconnect the shift position switch electrical connector, remove the 3 control valve body bolts M5 x 40.5, the 12 control valve body bolts M6 x 97, the control solenoid valve assembly and the control solenoid valve assembly filter plate and inspect the channel plate bolt pass through holes for damage or brinelling.
