A:
You can raise the vehicle, place a drain pan under the oil drain plug, remove the oil pan drain plug, drain the oil, install the oil pan drain plug, lower the vehicle, loosen the Oil Filter cap, remove the oil filter cap and filter and remove the filter from the cap.
Q: What may cause contamination of the oxygen sensor?
A:
The use of an inappropriate RTV sealant (not Oxygen Sensor safe) or excessive engine coolant or oil consumption may cause contamination of the oxygen sensor.
Q: How do you clean the throttle body?
A:
You can remove the air cleaner outlet duct resonator, inspect the Throttle Body bore and the throttle valve plate for deposits, clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate, install the air cleaner outlet duct resonator and perform the throttle relearn procedure.
