Q: How do you install the Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing?
A:
You can coat the piston, the piston rings, the cylinder bore, and the bearing surfaces with engine oil, install the piston, tap the top of the piston with a wooden hammer handle, hold the J 8037 firmly against the engine block, install the connecting rod caps, align the numbers placed on the connecting rod and the connecting rod cap, install the new connecting rod bolts and nuts, measure the connecting rod side clearance with a feeler gauge, install the cylinder head and install the oil pan.
