You can release the parking brake, raise the vehicle, remove the park brake equalizer locknut, disconnect the front park brake cable from the right park brake cable, release the park brake cable from the park brake equalizer, remove the 2 park brake cable bracket bolts located on top of the cross member, remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt from the lower trailing arm, disconnect the park brake cable eyelet, compress the locking tabs on the park brake cable conduit and remove the park brake cable from the cable bracket.

Q: How do you install the Parking Brake Front Cable?
A:
You can install the front park brake cable assembly, connect the front park brake cable to the park brake pedal clevis, install the front park brake cable to the park brake pedal assembly, route the front park brake cable through the vehicle floor, position the park brake cable routing clip to the floor stud, position the driver floor carpet to the vehicle floor, connect the park brake warning indicator switch electrical connector, install the left side body hinge pillar trim panel, install the front park brake cable to the park brake cable bracket, connect the front park brake cable to the rear park brake cable and adjust the park brake.

You can release the parking brake, raise the vehicle, remove the park brake equalizer locknut, release the park brake cable from the parking brake cable bracket, remove the park brake cable from the bracket and the equalizer, remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt from the vehicle underbody, remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt and nut, disconnect the park brake cable eyelet, remove the parking brake cable from the park brake cable bracket and remove the park brake cable from the cable bracket.

You can connect the park brake cable eyelet, install the parking brake cable to the park brake cable bracket, install the park brake cable bracket bolt and nut, install the park brake cable bracket bolt to the vehicle, install the park brake cable to the park brake cable bracket, install the park brake cable to the equalizer, install the park brake equalizer locknut and adjust the park brake.
