You should drain the cooling system, remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe from the oil cooler fittings on the radiator and then not remove the upper and lower transaxle oil cooler fittings from the radiator at the same time other wise the transaxle oil cooler may fail inside the radiator end tank.

Q: How to remove the Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting?
A:
You should pull on one of the open ends of the retaining ring, remove the retaining ring from the quick connect fitting, and the cooler line straight out from the quick connect fitting.

Q: How to install the Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting?
A:
You should install a new retaining ring into the quick connect fitting, hook one of the open ends of the retaining ring, rotate the retaining ring around the fitting, not install the new retaining ring onto the fitting, install the cooler line into the quick connect fitting, pull back sharply on the cooler line and then fill the transmission to the proper level.
