Q: What should be done before servicing the Electronic Brake Control Module?
A:
You should turn the ignition switch to the off position, raise and support the vehicle and then remove any dirt and debris from the area of the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).

01/11/2022Q: How to service the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)?
A:
You should disconnect the EBCM electrical connector, pull the EBCM away from the BPMV, not force the components apart, remove the EBCM to the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) gasket, inspect for damage, align the EBCM and the brake pressure switch to the BPMV and then program the EBCM.
