2010 GMC Canyon Window Regulator

You need to install the rear door window regulator into the rear door through the access hole and position the rear door window regulator to the inner panel. Then you need to install the bolts retaining the rear door window regulator to the inner panel. Finally, you need to connect the electrical connector to the window regulator motor, if equipped with A31.

You need to remove the rear door trim panel, the rear inside door handle, and the rear door speaker. Then you need to remove the rear door water deflector, the bolts retaining the rear window to the window regulator, and raise and support the rear door window. After that, you need to disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor, if equipped with A31, and loosen the bolts retaining the window regulator to the inner door at the keyhole slot locations. Finally, you need to remove the bolts retaining the window regulator to the inner panel, and remove the window regulator.

You need to install the front door window regulator into the front door through the access hole, position the window regulator to the inner panel, and install the fastener retaining the front door window regulator to the door. Then you need to connect the electrical connector to the window regulator motor if equipped with A31, and you need to install the front door window. After that, you need to install the bolts retaining the window to the window regulator, and the front door water deflector. Finally, you need to install the front door panel.

You need to ensure that the window is in the full-up position, and install the white plastic washer to the regulator shaft. Then you need to install the retaining clip to the handle and install the window regulator handle to the door. Finally, you need to push on the handle until the clip engages on the shaft.

The recommended torque is 9 Nm (80 lb in).
