You need to remove the transfer case assembly, install the J 45759 to the transfer case, mount the J 3289-20 to a sturdy workbench, and install the J 45759 into the J 3289-20 and secure it with the pivot pin. Finally, you need to remove the input shaft seal from the transfer case.

You need to prepare the J 3289-20 Holding Fixture, the J 23907 Slide Hammer with Bearing Adapter, the J 45278 Seal Remover, the J 45759 Assembly Fixture, and the J 45934 Input Seal Installer.
