2010 GMC Canyon Oil Dipstick Tube

You need to lightly lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil, and install the oil level indicator tube into the engine oil pan. Then you need to install the oil level indicator tube bolt. After that, you need to install the oil level indicator into the tube. Finally, you need to install the fuel line clip to the oil level indicator bracket.

The recommended torque is 10 Nm (89 lb in).

You need to remove the fuel line clip from the oil level indicator bracket and pull the oil level indicator from the tube. Then you need to remove the oil level indicator tube bolt. Finally, you need to remove the oil level indicator tube from the engine oil pan.
