You need to insert the muffler over the rear axle until the flange is near the catalytic converter and rotate the muffler clockwise 90 degrees to the installed position. Finally, you need to slide the muffler forward into position, aligning the studs with the rear of the catalytic converter.

01/11/2022Q: How to remove the Exhaust Muffler?
A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, and gain clearance to remove the muffler. Then you need to remove the nuts securing the muffler to the catalytic converter. After that, you need to apply a soapy solution to the exhaust pipe hanger rods and pry the exhaust hangers free from the exhaust pipe hanger rods. Finally, you need to remove the muffler from the vehicle.
