2010 GMC Canyon Exterior Door Handle

You need to remove the front door trim panel and the front door water deflector. Then you need to disconnect the outside door handle rod and the lock cylinder rod, and you need to remove the bolts retaining the outside door handle to the door. After that, you need to remove the outside door handle from the door. Finally, you need to remove the lock cylinder from the outside door handle.

The recommended torque is 9 Nm (80 lb in).

You need to remove the rear door trim panel, the rear door speaker, the rear inside door handle, and the rear door water deflector. Then you need to disconnect the rear outside door handle rod, and remove the bolts retaining the rear outside door handle to the door. Finally, you need to remove the rear outside door handle from the door.

You need to install the lock cylinder to the outside door handle and install the outside door handle to the front door. Then you need to install the bolts retaining the outside door handle to the door and connect the lock cylinder rod to the lock cylinder using the retaining clip. After that, you need to connect the outside door handle rod to the door handle, and install the front door water deflector. Finally, you need to install the front door trim panel.

You need to install the rear outside door handle to the rear door and install the bolts retaining the rear outside door handle to the door. Then you need to connect the rear outside door handle rod to the door handle and install the rear door water deflector. After that, you need to install the rear inside door handle, the rear door speaker, and the rear door trim panel in sequence.
