If any tire sealant is noted upon tire dismounting, you shall replace the sensor, also remove all residual liquid sealant from the inside of the tire and wheel surfaces.

You shall remove the tire/wheel assembly from the vehicle, the tire from the wheel, the tire pressure sensor nut, and the tire pressure sensor.

Q: What is the tire pressure indicator sensor installation procedure?
A:
Insert the sensor in the wheel hole with the air passage facing away from the wheel, install the sensor nut and position the sensor body parallel to the inside wheel surface. Tighten the sensor nut and tighten it to 7 Nm. Install the tire on the wheel and the tire/wheel assembly on the vehicle.

Q: What is the tire valve stem grommet installation procedure?
A:
Install the grommet on the sensor valve stem and insert the sensor in the wheel hole with the air passage facing away from the wheel. Install the sensor nut and position the sensor. Body parallel to the inside wheel surface while torquing. Tighten the sensor nut to 7 Nm.
