Q: How to remove the transmission control lever knob?
A:
You shall remove the floor console left extension panel, the tap up/tap down switch electrical wire harness, the shift control knob screw from the shift control knob, and the shift control knob from the shift control lever.

Q: How do I remove the Transmission Control Lever Knob?
A:
Start with applying the parking brake, then remove the floor console left extension panel. Disconnect the transmission tap up/tap down switch electrical connector. Remove the tap-up/tap-down switch electrical wire harness. Then rotate the key to the run position but don't turn the vehicle on. Move the shift control lever rearward. Carefully apply downward pressure to the shift knob trim ring to separate the trim ring from the shift knob and remove the shift knob from the lever.
