You shall remove the tire and wheel assembly, the rear brake rotor, the upper park brake shoe retainer spring, the park brake shoe adjuster, the rear park brake shoe hold-down spring, the lower park brake shoe retainer spring, and the rear park brake shoe, the front park brake shoe hold down spring and the front park brake shoe.

You shall install the front park brake shoe, the front park brake shoe hold-down spring, the rear park brake shoe, the lower park brake shoe retainer spring, the rear park brake shoe hold-down spring, the park brake shoe adjuster and the upper park brake shoe retainer spring.

Start with applying the high-temperature brake lubricant to the park brake shoe contact areas of the brake backing plate. Install the front brake shoe, the hold-down spring, the rear park brake shoe, the lower park brake shoe retainer spring, the rear park brake shoe hold-down spring, the park brake shoe adjuster, and the upper park brake shoe retainer spring. Adjust the park brake.

Start with lifting and supporting the vehicle, and then you will need to remove the wheel and tire assembly and the rear brake rotor. Retract the park brake shoe adjuster to ease removal and remove the retainer spring, the adjuster, the rear park brake shoe hold-down lower spring, and the front park brake shoe. Then clean the rear of the backing plate.
