You shall start the engine and allow the engine to idle, begin the automated bleed procedure, turn the ignition OFF, fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-fill level, bleed the hydraulic brake system, apply the brakes 3-5 times, or until the brake pedal becomes firm, depress and release the brake pedal, turn the ignition key ON, with the engine OFF, check to see if the brake system warning lamp remains illuminated, and drive the vehicle to exceed 13 km/h (8 mph).

Q: How to service the fluid separation and/or a swollen master cylinder reservoir cap diaphragm and/or swollen reservoir-to-master cylinder grommets?
A:
You shall remove such components as the master cylinder, the front brake hose, the rear brake hose, the front brake caliper, and the brake pressure modulator valve, clean out all the hydraulic brake pipes using denatured alcohol, or equivalent, dry the brake pipes using non-lubricated, filtered air, and repair the components mentioned above.
