Q: What is the removal procedure for the sunroof motor/actuator?
A:
The procedure is to lower the headliner, disconnect the electrical connector from the motor/actuator, remove the screws from the Sunroof Motor, pull straight down to disengage the drive gear from the cables housed within the sunroof cable drive tubes, and then remove the sunroof motor from the sunroof module.
Q: How do you reroute the wire harness?
A:
You can disable the SIR system, move the seat to the maximum forward position and raise the seat to its maximum height, disconnect connector C308 from under the driver's seat cross-beam, unclip the seat airbag harness (yellow or black conduit) and pull the harness out from under the seat, add NyoGel 760 Lubricant (dielectric lubricant) to the terminals on both sides of the connections, tape the gray clip on at 110 mm (4.33 in) from the back of the connector, and then repeat the above procedure on the passenger seat.
