You need to remove the front seat from the vehicle, the seat cushion cover, and pad, the bolts retaining the seat back hinge/recliner mechanisms to the seat cushion frame, the bolts retaining the seat cushion frame to the adjuster, and the power seat switch bracket if equipped, and replace the inflatable restraint passenger presence system if replacing the front passenger seat cushion pad.

You need to remove the assist handle if equipped, release J channel retainers at the bottom edge of the seat back cover, remove the armrest, release the hook and loop strips that retain the seat back cover to the seat back foam pad, lift the seat back cover from the foam pad, peel the seat back foam pad away from the seat back frame, and then remove any residue left from the foam pad or glue from the seat back frame.

The procedure is to remove the perforated section on the front of the cushion pad, position the foam pad to the seat cushion frame and the seat cushion cover to the foam pad, engage the J channel retainers, install the power seat switch, locate the position of the recliner mechanism rod through the cushion cover, make a small °X° cut just large enough for the recliner rod to go through, slip the cover over the recliner mechanism rod, install the recliner handle, position the seat back to the seat cushion assembly, install the bolts, position the seat assembly to the seat adjuster assembly, and then install the bolts to secure the seat assembly to the adjuster and the seat into the vehicle.

You need to raise the seat to the full up position, remove the front seat from the vehicle, the seat back cover enough to expose the recliner mechanism bolts, the recliner bolts, the seat back from the seat assembly, and the seat cushion from the seat adjuster assembly, release the seat cushion J channel retainers from the seat cushion frame and the hook and loop strips, and then remove the seat cushion cover from the foam pad and the foam pad from the cushion frame.

You need to remove the rear seat from the vehicle, the seat cushion cover and pad, the seat belt buckles, the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor if equipped, the bolts retaining the seat back hinge to the seat cushion frame, and the seat cushion frame.
