You can raise the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly, the brake caliper mounting bracket, the rear axle housing cover and the gasket, the pinion shaft locking bolt, the pinion shaft and the shaft part way, push the flange of the Axle Shaft toward the differential, and then remove the C-lock from the button end of the axle shaft, the axle shaft from the housing and the axle shaft from the housing.

You can position the universal bearings on either side of the yoke on the propeller shaft, install the universal joint spider, press the universal joint spider, install the retaining ring in the yoke, rotate the propeller shaft and the universal joint, install the other two universal bearings and wrap them with electrical tape or equivalent to hold the bearing in place, position the universal spider in the slip yoke, install the universal bearings in either side of the slip yoke, fully seat one of the universal spiders in the universal bearing, press the universal bearings into the slip yoke, install the retaining ring in the slip yoke, rotate the slip yoke, position the slip yoke in the propeller shaft and the universal bearing in the yoke of the propeller shaft, center the universal spider in the universal bearing, press the universal bearing into the yoke, install the retaining ring in the propeller shaft yoke, and then rotate the propeller shaft and the universal joint.

You need to remove the wheel drive shaft, the large clamp, the small clamp, and the tripot housing from the wheel drive shaft, compress the tripot seal up the wheel drive shaft bar, away from the tripot spider assembly toward the outboard end of the wheel drive shaft assembly, spread the spider snap ring with the J 8059 or equivalent, remove the snap ring, the spider assembly, the tripot bushing, and the tripot seal, and then clean the wheel drive shaft bar with a wire brush.
