A:
The procedure is to remove the evaporator and blower module assembly, the heater assembly retaining nuts from the engine compartment and the I/P carrier, disconnect the temperature actuator electrical connector and the vacuum lines from the actuators, and then remove the heater assembly.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the heater core?
A:
The procedure is to drain the engine coolant, remove the A/C accumulator, the engine cover, the right knee bolster bracket, the cowl drain tube bolts, the cowl drain tube, the hose clamps, the inlet and outlet heater hoses from the heater core, right hinge pillar trim, the ground lead at the right hinge pillar and the harness connector and bracket in the right hinge pillar, disconnect the radio antenna lead-in cable at the right hinge pillar, remove the heater outlet duct at the left side of the heater case, reposition the wire harness at the hinge pillar and the heater case, remove the screws from the heater assembly, open the heater core access door, cut the marked section of the heater core access door and remove the access door, and then remove the retainers from the heater core and the heater core.

You can install the heater core to the module, the screws to the bottom of the auxiliary HVAC module, and the auxiliary HVAC module.

Q: How do you install the heater core?
A:
You can install the heater core, the heater core retainers, the heater core access door, and the heater core access door retaining screws, reposition the wire harness at the hinge pillar and the heater case, install the heater outlet duct at the left side of the heater case, connect the antenna lead-in cable, install the harness connector and bracket to the hinge pillar, the ground lead at the hinge pillar, hinge pillar trim, the inlet and outlet heater hoses to the heater core, the heater hose clamps, the cowl drain tube and bolts, the right knee bolster bracket, the engine cover and the A/C accumulator, and then fill the engine coolant.
