You can install the hub to the brake rotor and the rear axle hub to the brake rotor, press the wheel studs in the hub and rotor assembly, apply threadlocker GM P/N 89021297 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to 2/3 of the threaded length of the brake caliper bracket bolt, install the brake caliper bracket bolts, adjust the park brake, if necessary, install the tire and wheel assembly, and then burnish the brake pads and rotors.

The procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly and the front wheel hub extension if equipped, mark the relationship of the rotor to the hub, install a C-clamp over the body of the brake caliper, tighten the C-clamp, and then remove the C-clamp from the caliper, the brake caliper bracket bolts, the brake caliper and bracket as an assembly and support with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent, the rotor retaining push nuts from the wheel studs if applicable and the rotor.

You can align the rotor to its original position on the hub, if applicable, and install the rotor, install the brake rotor screw and the brake caliper and brake caliper bracket, remove all traces of the original adhesive patch, clean the threads of the bolts with brake parts cleaner or equivalent and allow to dry, apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the threads of the bolts, install the 2 brake caliper bracket mounting bolts and the tire and wheel assembly, apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance, release the brake pedal, fill the master cylinder reservoir to the proper level with clean brake fluid if necessary, and then burnish the brake pads and rotors.

You can remove all traces of the original adhesive patch, clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow them to dry, apply thread locker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to 2/3 of the threaded portion of the bolt, and then allow the thread locker to cure approximately 10 minutes before installation.

You can align the rotor to its original position on the hub (if applicable) and install the rotor, install the caliper and caliper bracket assembly, remove all traces of the original adhesive patch, clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry, apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to 2/3 of the threaded portion of the bolt, allow the threadlocker to cure approximately 10 minutes before installation, install the caliper bracket bolts, the front wheel hub extension if equipped and the tire and wheel assembly, apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance, release the brake pedal, fill the master cylinder reservoir to the proper level with clean brake fluid, and then burnish the brake pads and rotors.
