Q: How do you install the power brake booster?
A:
You can install the power brake booster gasket, the power brake booster, and the power brake booster nuts, apply a thin coat of high-temperature lubricant, GM P/N 12345994 (Canadian P/N 10953501) to the brake pedal pivot pin, install the stop lamp switch and simultaneously connect the power brake booster pushrod, connect the stop lamp switch electrical connector, install the power brake booster pushrod retaining clip, rotate the power brake booster retaining clip 360 degrees, install the power brake booster pushrod retaining clip bolt, connect the power brake booster outlet hose fitting, connect the power brake booster inlet hose fitting, install the master cylinder, and then leed the power steering system.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the power brake booster?
A:
The procedure is to apply the parking brake and block the wheels, remove the master cylinder and support with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent, disconnect the power brake booster inlet hose fitting and the power brake booster outlet hose fitting, remove the power brake booster pushrod retaining clip bolt and the power brake booster pushrod retaining clip, disconnect the stop lamp switch electrical connector and the power brake booster pushrod and remove the stop lamp switch, and then remove the power brake booster nuts, the power brake booster, and the power brake booster gasket.
