2010 Chevrolet Express 3500 Belt Tensioner

You can install the key into the crankshaft keyway, tap the key into the keyway, install the crankshaft sprocket onto the front of the crankshaft, compress the Timing Chain tensioner guide and install the EN 46330, install the timing chain tensioner and bolts, identify the alignment hole in the rear face of the CMP actuator and the locating pin on the front face of the camshaft, align the CMP actuator so the timing mark is in the 6 o'clock position, install the CMP actuator and timing chain, the actuator completely onto the front of the camshaft and a NEW CMP actuator valve, remove the EN 46330, tighten the CMP actuator bolt, remove the J 42386-A, and then install the oil pump.

You need to install the drive belt Idler Pulley and bolt to the generator bracket and the drive belt and then tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolt.

You need to compress the timing chain tensioner guide and install the EN 46330, identify the alignment hole in the rear face of the CMP actuator and the locating pin on the front face of the Camshaft, install the CMP actuator and timing chain, place a straight edge across the front face of the engine block and inspect for proper installation of the CMP actuator and timing chain, install a NEW CMP actuator solenoid valve, inspect the sprockets for proper alignment, remove the EN 46330, tighten the CMP actuator solenoid valve, and then install the oil pump.
