You can disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the power vacuum brake booster pump, raise the vehicle, disconnect the engine harness connector and remove the Starter solenoid terminal nut, the positive battery cable terminal, the starter solenoid wire terminal, the starter bolts and then the starter.
Q: How do you install the Battery Negative Cable (LAF)?
A:
You can install the battery negative cable engine ground nut and washer, install the battery negative cable frame ground nut, then connect the body harness connector to the battery current sensor, connect the battery negative cable and reset the radio channel presets.
Q: What should you do before replacing the Generator (LAF)?
A:
You should disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the drive belt and disconnect the engine harness generator connector.
