Q: How do I install the Hood Primary Latch Release Cable?
A:
Start with routing the cables through the opening in the dash panel and install the screws which mount the hood release handle. Next, install the cable grommet through the slits in the carpet insulator and into the dash panel and connect the cables to the latches. Install the hood latches and test them for proper operation.

06/01/2022Q: How do I remove the Hood Primary Latch Release Cable?
A:
Start with removing both hood latches, next disconnect the release cable from the latches and reposition the cables so that the cables slide smoothly through the opening in the dash panel. Remove the screws from the release cable handle and the release cable grommet from the dash panel. Pull the release cables through the opening in the dash panel.
