FAQ for Abs Control Module Repair
Q: How do I install the Electronic Brake Control Module?
A:
Install the EBCM by carefully pressing straight onto the BPMV. Then tighten the bolts to 3 Nm (27 LB IN). Connect the EBCM electrical connector and the negative battery cable. If installing a new EBCM, program the EBCM.

06/01/2022Q: How do I remove the Electronic Brake Control Module?
A:
First, turn the ignition off, then disconnect the negative battery cable. Lift and support the vehicle. Clean the area surrounding the EBCM and the BPMV. Disconnect the EBCM electrical connector and remove the bolts. Remove the EBCM and clean the sealing surfaces of the EBCM and the BPMV with denatured alcohol.
