Q: How do I install the brake caliper hardware?
A:
Start with applying a thin coat of high temp silicone brake lube to the inside of the brake caliper guide pin boots. Then install the guide pins boots to the bracket, apply the lubricant to the brake caliper guide pins and the bushing, then install the pins to the bracket. Then add lubricant to the pad hardware mating surfaces of the bracket, then install the brake pad retainers and brake pad. Now you can remove the caliper support.

Start with greasing the new piston seal with clean brake fluid, then install it to the bore. Next, you will need to install the new dust boot on the caliper piston and insert the caliper piston into the caliper bore. Fully seat the dust boot seal in the counter house then attach the piston dust boot seal retaining ring to the groove in the caliper seal counterbore. Then install the brake caliper.

Install the upper guide pin to the outer caliper half. Be sure that the retainer is centered and holding the brake pads.
