Start with feeding the cable from the luggage compartment to the passenger compartment. Connect the cable to the handle and install the handle. Install the floor carpet to its original position, the front and the rear seats, the lock striker and the luggage compartment rear trim panels.

Start with connecting the cable to the lock, the lock rod, and the electrical connector. Next, install the luggage compartment lock with the screws, and tighten the lock screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

First, open the luggage compartment. Next, remove the luggage compartment rear trim panels and the lock striker. Disconnect the cable from the lock striker. Remove the driver front and rear seats and reposition the floor carpet on the left side of the vehicle. Remove the bolt and the handle, then disconnect the cable from the handle. Remove the cable.

Start with disconnecting the negative battery cable. Next, remove the screws and the luggage compartment lock. Then disconnect the electrical connector, the lock, and the cable from the lock.
