With the help of an assistant install the bolts and hinge to the door and body of the vehicle. Tighten the hinge to body bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb. ft.). then tighten the hinge to door bolts to 15 Nm (11 LB-FT.

Start with installing the lock striker with the bolts and tighten them to 8 Nm (71 LB IN). next install the luggage compartment rear trim panel.

Start with opening the luggage compartment, next remove the luggage compartment rear trim panel and the bolts that secure the lock striker. Pull the striker out to remove it from the vehicle.

Start with removing the striker screws and spacer to move the striker toward the rear of the vehicle, next add a 2 mm (0.08 in) spacer to move the striker toward the front of the vehicle and install the striker screws.
