2010 Cadillac SRX Vehicle Speed Sensors

First, you should remove the control valve body cover. Then, you should disconnect the input and output speed sensor electrical connector and the shift position switch electrical connector. After that, you should remove the 4 control valve body bolts M6 x 80 and position the control solenoid valve spring to the side. Then, you should remove the 2 control valve body bolts M6 x 65, the control valve body bolt M6 x 42, the 3 control valve body bolts M6 x 95, and the control valve body bolt M6 x 55. Finally, you should remove the control solenoid valve body and Transmission Control Module (TCM) assembly and remove the control solenoid valve assembly filter plate.

You should raise and support the vehicle, remove the left tire and wheel and use a suitable jack stand to support the rear of the powertrain. Then, you should remove the Transmission Mount to the bracket through bolt, the transaxle brace bolt, and then loosen bolt until it no longer engages the transaxle. After that, you should remove the transaxle brace with the bolt still retained in the brace, the transmission mount to transmission bolts, and the rear mount to frame fasteners, and then remove the mount and bracket from the vehicle.

You should adjust the automatic transmission range selector cable while the transmission and the gear selector are in the park position only. Then, you should set the park brake and chock the wheels, verify the transmission range select lever and the transmission manual shift lever are in the park position, pull the retaining collar forward, release the range select cable adjuster clip by pushing up on the adjuster clip from the underside, depress the adjuster clip locking the adjuster clip completely, release the retaining collar, ensure that the cable adjuster is secured and check the transmission range select lever in all gear selections for proper operation.
