Q: What should be done before replacing the intermediate steering shaft?
A:
You should lock the steering column in the straight-ahead position, remove the left side instrument panel insulator panel and use paint to place match marks on the intermediate steering shaft and the steering gear pinion shaft, on the steering column shaft, and the intermediate steering shaft.
