First, you should install the park brake shoe adjuster and the park brake shoe return spring, clean the park brake shoe mounting plate and apply high-temperature brake lubricant to the park brake shoe mounting plate contact points. After that, you should install the park brake shoes, spread the park brake shoes apart and lift them around the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Then, you should install the hold-down spring pins and compress the park brake shoe hold-down springs. After that, you should install the park brake shoe upper return spring, adjust the parking brake, install the rear brake rotor and the tire and wheel assembly and finally enable the parking brake cable adjuster.
