A:
You should remove the HVAC module from the vehicle, the mode came gear cover screw and cover, the mode cam gear actuator screws and separate the actuator from the HVAC module, disconnect the mode cam gear actuator electrical connector and remove the mode cam gear from the HVAC module. For alignment purposes, you should remove both cam gear levers and if the valve gears are damaged, you should remove them from the HVAC module and discard them.

A:
You should disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the instrument panel assembly and the inside air inlet actuator-left and then disconnect the air inlet valve actuator electrical connector. The actuator is self-calibrating when connecting the battery.
