Then, you should use the DT 8059 - pliers to install the retaining ring on the wheel drive shaft and use a block of wood and a hammer to install the CV Joint on the wheel drive shaft. After that, you should place approximately half of the lubricant inside the CV boot and the other half in the CV joint and remove any excess lubricant on the CV joint housing or the boot. Then, you can use the DT 35910 - pliers to close the boot clamp. Then, you should distribute the lubricant and remove the wheel drive shaft from the vise and finally install the wheel drive shaft.

You should remove the wheel drive shaft from the vehicle, position the wheel drive shaft in a soft jawed vise and clamp securely, then use a flat-bladed tool to remove the boot retaining clamp and use side cutters to remove the boot clamp. Finally, you should remove the tripot housing from the wheel drive shaft, the retaining clip, the tripot spider from the wheel drive shaft, and the boot from the wheel drive shaft.
