A:
First, you should position the boot and the clamp on the wheel drive shaft and ensure that the boot is properly seated. Then, you should use the DT 8059 - pliers to install the retaining ring on the wheel drive shaft and use a block of wood and a hammer to install the CV joint on the wheel drive shaft. After that, you should place approximately half of the lubricant inside the CV boot and the other half in the CV joint and remove any excess lubricant on the CV joint housing or the boot. Then, you can use the DT 35910 - pliers to close the boot clamp. Then, you should distribute the lubricant and remove the wheel drive shaft from the vise and finally install the wheel drive shaft.
