29/10/2022 Q: How to install camshaft position actuator-bank 2 (left side) intake (LAU)?
A:
First, you should ensure the proper camshaft position actuator is installed and observe the body of the camshaft position actuator for the IN marking. On the left intake camshaft actuator, the edge of the reluctor wheel should line up with the peak of the sprocket tooth. Then, you should ensure the proper timing mark is used and observe the outer ring of the camshaft position actuator for the circle marking. After that, you should use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft to prevent camshaft rotation when tightening the camshaft position actuator bolt and locate the intake camshaft position actuator to the camshaft and loosely install the bolt. Finally, you should tighten the camshaft position actuator bolt and install the left exhaust camshaft actuator.
