First, you should secure the mounting flange of the brake master cylinder in a bench vise. Second, you should remove the master cylinder reservoir cap and diaphragm and install suitable fittings to the master cylinder ports and provide for hose attachment. Third, you should route the hoses into the master cylinder reservoir. After that, you should fill the master cylinder reservoir and ensure that the ends of the transparent hoses are fully submerged in the brake fluid. Then, you should depress and release the primary piston and observe the flow of fluid coming from the ports. Then, you should continue to depress and release the primary piston. After that, you should remove the transparent hoses and install the master cylinder reservoir cap and diaphragm. Finally, you should remove the fittings with the transparent hoses from the master cylinder ports, wrap the master cylinder with a clean shop cloth to prevent brake fluid spills, and remove the master cylinder from the vise.
