Q: What do we need to note when servicing the brake pipes?
A:
First, if sectioning the brake pipe, you should use a replacement pipe of the same type and outside diameter. Second, you should use fittings of the appropriate size and type and only create flares of the same type or design as originally equipped on the vehicle.

Q: How to remove the rear brake hose?
A:
First, you should raise and support the vehicle and remove the tire and wheel assembly. After that, you should remove the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Finally, you should remove the rear brake hose retaining clip, and the brake hose fitting bolt, and remove and discard the 2 brake hose fitting gaskets from the brake hose fitting.

Q: How to install the rear brake hose?
A:
First, you should assemble the brake hose fitting bolt with 2 new brake hose fitting gaskets to the brake hose fitting. Then, you should install the brake hose assembly to the brake caliper and tighten the brake hose fitting bolt. After that, you should position the brake hose to the bracket and install the rear brake hose retaining clip, the brake pipe fitting to the rear brake hose, and the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Finally, you should bleed the hydraulic brake system and install the tire and wheel assembly.
