First, you should disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the drive belt. Then, you should reposition the positive battery cable boot at the generator terminal and disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the generator. After that, you should remove the positive battery cable nut at the generator, the positive battery cable terminal from the generator, the idler pulley bolt and idler pulley, the generator bolts, and the generator.

The recommended torque is 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

You should maneuver the generator to remove it from the vehicle.

First, you should position the generator to the engine. Then, you should loosely install the generator bolts and install the idler pulley. Finally, you should tighten the generator bolts.
