The procedure is to remove the steering column, remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil, remove the turn signal multifunction switch, remove the ignition lock cylinder case, remove the tilt spring, remove the automatic transmission control, and then remove the Steering Shaft upper bearing from the steering column tilt head assembly.

The procedure is to turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, apply and release the brake pedal several times until the brake pedal becomes firm to delete the power vacuum Brake Booster vacuum reserve, disconnect the electrical connector from the vacuum sensor, remove the vacuum sensor with check valve and hose assembly from the power vacuum brake booster, and then release the clamp and remove the vacuum sensor from the vacuum hose.

You should remove any dirt or debris from the brake pipe fitting. The mounting bracket for the Brake Hose is serviced as part of the brake hose assembly and is not serviced separately. You should use a backup wrench when removing or installing the brake pipe fitting, and then cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss or contamination.
