A:
The proper way is to position the accelerator pedal to the accelerator pedal bracket, install the accelerator pedal bolts and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in), connect the APP sensor electrical connector, connect a scan tool to the diagnostic port to test for proper throttle-opening and throttle-closing range, and then operate the accelerator pedal and monitor the throttle angles.
