A:
The procedure is to partially drain the cooling system, reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamps and remove the surge tank inlet hoses from the surge tank and the radiator.
Q: How do you install the engine coolant temperature sensor?
A:
You can coat the ECT sensor threads with sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or the equivalent, install the ECT sensor, connect the ECT sensor electrical connector and refill the engine coolant.
