2009 GMC Envoy Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor

Remove the fuel rail assembly, disconnect the Fuel Injector electrical harness connectors from the fuel injectors, remove the fuel injector retainer clips, the fuel injectors from the fuel rail, discard the injector retainer clips, remove the injector O-ring seals from both ends of the injectors, and discard the O-ring seals.

Remove the fuel sender assembly, push down the Fuel Level Sensor pigtail electrical connector retainer and remove the connector from the module cover, remove the fuel level sensor pigtail wires from behind the retainer on the bucket, push in the fuel level sensor retainer on the bucket, and slide down the fuel level sensor and remove the sensor from the bucket.

You need to apply a few drops of clean engine oil to the male pipe end, push both sides of the fitting together to snap the retaining tabs into place, pull on both sides of the fitting to make sure the connection is secure, and install the retainer to the quick-connect fitting.
